  1. -> The more gates you fill in, the more discriminating the hunt through the
  2.    records will be.  If you leave the gates in their default conditions, ALL
  3.    of today's events involving ALL employees and ALL projects will be reported.
  4. -> Hunts for projects and events may be made on the basis of partial entries.
  5.    For instance, if you wished to find all events involving the "Smith-1" and
  6.    "Smith-2" projects, you would need to enter only "Smith" at item A.  All
  7.    envents tied to projects whose names contained the character string "Smith"
  8.    would be shown to you.  Included among the events reported might also those
  9.    involving the "J. Smith" and "Blacksmith" projects.
  10. -> Remember, any gate that is left blank will be considered to be open, allow-
  11.    ing ANY record to pass through.
  12. -> If you don't want deadlines reported to you, make gate G "NO" by pressing
  13.    the G key.  If you press the G key again, you'll change it back to "YES".
  14.    The same principle applies to appointments, trips, etc. (gates H..M).
  15. -> The type of report produced depends upon how you have set Gate P, which al-
  16.    lows you to toggle among "Standard", "Full Screen Edit", "Time Scheduled",
  17.    and "Printed Calendar", and "Printed Event Chart".
  18. -> To reset all the hunt gates to their default settings, press ^R.
  19. -> To begin the hunt (report generation) , press F6.
  20. -> To send a report to the printer, instead of the screen, press ALT-P just be-
  21.    fore you press F6 to begin the hunt.  To send the report to a disk file
  22.    named TEXT.MX, press ALT-F, instead of ALT-P.
